Being a tour guide in London is never dull. So much history, amazing clients and now and again a celebrity spot!

Just 15 minutes ago I saw Nick Mohammed aka Mr Swallow and Nate the Great in a rickshaw in front of Westminter Abbey! (doing some filming)

Do you have an appetite for the darker side of London's history? πŸ–€

This walk takes you through a 900 year old churchyard, London's biggest Black Death burial ground, and the shell of a church gutted in the Blitz. We'll also stop by Postman's Park, home to the most moving memorials in the city.

It's not all doom and gloom though! Expect a stunning Tudor gateway, alleyways barely touched in centuries, and the church from Four Weddings and a Funeral.

What actually happens at Changing the Guard on a Sunday? πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Marching bands, red tunics, bearskin hats and centuries of royal tradition outside Buckingham Palace. Most visitors watch it from behind a wall of tourists at the gates, but our tour moves through every stage of the ceremony with you, the inspection, Old Guard, New Guard, the Palaces, even marching alongside the Guards and the band.

Ever wanted to march alongside the Guard?

That's exactly what you'll do on this one. We keep groups small and our guides (look for the flag) really know their stuff, so you're right up close for the whole ceremony.

Tours run rain or shine, if the weather's bad you'll catch the "Wet Change" instead.

Tickets from Β£17. Save 10% with code FB10.

Today we saw an air ambulance lifting off from Trafalgar Square at the start of our Secret London Tour.

It's not easy to find a suitable location in Central London for a helicopter, but Trafalgar Square is an important landing place, along with the Royal Parks and Horse Guards Parade.

The state of the art helicopters require a space the size of a small tennis court to land and take off, (around 80ft x 80ft), and have priority over all air traffic when dealing with an emergency.

We wish everyone concerned well.
