A parrot that made international news when she died 🦜

Meet Polly, the resident African Grey of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, one of London's oldest pubs. She became so beloved that her death was printed in newspapers across the world, and to this day, she still watches over the bar.

This walk follows the Whitechapel streets where the murders happened in 1888, tracing the investigation as it actually unfolded, but centring the women whose lives were cut short, not just the man who was never caught.

Today the guards marked the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and remembered those who tragically lost their lives.
In attendance at Buckingham Palace were the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, and the US Ambassador.
There was a 2 minute silence, followed by the Coldstream Band playing the US national anthem.
A very special day to be guiding in London.
