We're pleased that planning permission has been granted for this rear wrap-around addition to an existing Edwardian semi-detached house located in the West Putney conservation area. The extension design draws on proportions, colours and textures from the existing house. Surface materials will include reclaimed stack-bonded clay bricks, textured lime render, and European Oak.

Following a positive initial meeting with the planning authority we have developed our design for this backland site in North London. The redevelopment of this site would see the construction of 7 new homes comprising a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units each with private and communal amenity/ garden space.

Looking back at this project as a point of reference. This Larch-clad side and rear extension, with basement fit-out was completed in 2023. The extension - hopefully we'll get around to arranging finished photos soon for our new website. The wedge-shaped side extension and large glazed apertures provide elevated framed panoramic views over London.

Construction works are now well underway on this project in Forest Hill. The work will see the ground floor of the property transformed and extended over split levels. The extension will be finished in a smoked Oak 'board and batten' rain screen cladding. A new rear dormer will create more usable floorspace and outlook from the loft level.

Lovely to see this project progressing on site. The scaffold has recently been removed to reveal a better view of the white brickwork, steel framed doors and zinc clad dormers. Pointing and stone copings to follow on soon. Now we're watertight, the remaining works internally can be progressed and completed. Really pleased with how this project is coming together - a great client/ contractor/ architect collaboration! Hope to share more pics soon!

Sometimes the smallest projects are the most enjoyable. This small garden building for a friend has been an absolute pleasure to be involved with. More than half of the materials used were recycled or upcycled. The building has multiple uses as a children's den, work studio, garden tool store, BBQ area and even a bird-watching hide. It was lovely to spend an evening here recently to see how much use it gets and the enjoyment it brings.
