85% of business travellers surveyed expect to be on the road the same amount or more often in 2024 versus 2023. About 30% combine leisure with business travel, or "bleisure." The average daily rate (ADR) for hotels booked by business travelers in the United States grew about 5% from 2022 to 2023. The US helicopter charter company Blade is wheeling out a luxury bus service from New York City to the Hamptons this year.

Initially founded 10 years ago as a way to swerve heavy vehicle traffic when commuting out of NYC, Blade’s helicopter seats currently shuttle Hampton-goers to eastern Long Island from $1,050 (£837) for a 40-minute flight. Now, to find the middle ground between high-end flying and the budget Hampton Jitney bus, the helicopter operator is “elevating” the ground travel experience!

Steps from the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe — yet removed from the bustle of this summer's Olympic games, which will be returning to Paris for the third time from July 26 to Aug. 11 — is Le Royal Monceau — Raffles Paris. Located in the 8th arrondissement, the regal hotel opened in 1928 in a former retirement home for nuns, and it quickly became a popular retreat for creatives.

Guests are immersed in contemporary art from the moment they pass through the prestigious red awning into the majestic lobby, which features rotating art installations. Beginning June 26 and running through Aug. 11, a new installation in the Parisienne Lobby Lounge celebrates the Olympic Games near to where the world’s best athletes will be competing. The work conjures a miniature Paris with Morris columns, cobblestone streets and bridges.
