Explore the sights of a city whilst going for a run. We quickly became London's favourite running tour provider but also discovered something else that we could do. Immersive team running challenges - solve a murder based in London's sordid past out on the streets of London. We'll give you a map and brief you on the investigation. And then you're off to the streets to find witnesse

s, suspects and clues. The fastest team to get the right answer wins. We quickly found that our knowledge of London's history coupled with our vivid imagination made us the perfect company for these team challenges. And they've become pretty popular. Christmas lights running (and walking) tours 2026 - earlybird just opened 🎁🎄🔔☃️🏃🏼

Back for our 11th year, and bigger than ever. Jingle all the way round London's Christmas lights on a guided 5k or 10k run, a walk, or a GPS audio guided half marathon.

See the best festive displays and trees, with plenty of photo ops and festive tunes as we go ho ho ho.

New for 2026:
✨️ New classic route - each year we mix up the route so you can keep coming back year after year (thank you to everyone who does)!
🚶 Walking tours - same lights, same festive nonsense, no running required
🏅 GPS-guided half marathon - the full 13.1 at your own pace, in your own time

This year, we’ve got three twinkling routes: a brand new classic tour, plus our City and Chelsea favourites. All with 5k and 10k options. 🏃‍♀️🏃⁠

Back for our 11th year 🤯 tours run from 15 November to 20 December, with plenty of weekday evenings and even more availability at weekends.⁠

And there’s no need to be a speedy runner. Every tour has a guide pace to keep you comfortably in your zone, plus walk-run and walking options. 👟⁠

The next, brand new Secret London Runs event is here - presenting, our first ever Secret Silent Disco Run 🎧🥳🏃‍♀️

We're taking it back to the 80s for a fun-packed dance through the streets of London. Turn up in your best 80's themed fancy dress, plug in our state-of-the-art headphones and join on one of our biggest ever running tours, soundtracked by a playlist packed with the decades best tunes 🎵

We'll meet near Waterloo station and run through some of London's most stirring sights, with a few secret detours on the route too. And after 7k of jogging, tunes and your best moves, we'll finish back at the start for drinks at the retro themed Scooter Caffe on Lower Marsh 🍸🍻🥂

All running paces are welcome on this one of a kind silent disco run, and till the end of August tickets will be - of course - £19.80 🤭

Throwback to our Disney collaboration in June - who was there and what did you love most about it? 🙋‍♂️🥪🏃🏽‍♀️📸🚌🥇🧑🏾‍🍳

Was it running en masse through central London? Or being cheered and whooped at from London's crowds, and even buses? Perhaps you loved ending at the special installation with a sandwich and medal? Or was it just all the vibes of the occasion?

We loved bringing so many members of our community together. And we'd love to do it again soon.

And whilst we're still eagerly awaiting for Disney to call us back for round 2, Run the Shift has led to some exciting possible collaborations and opportunities for Secret London Runs. In the next few days we will announce a brand new running event, like nothing we've ever done before 🤩

Anyone else think it's looking a bit quiet around here? 🙄👋🏻

As most of you will know, Secret London Runs is a small, family-run business. Which means that the summer holiday period can become a bit of a balancing act 🥴

We love spending time together with our young family (here's a picture of the four of us getting lost in Southwold's maize maze 🌽a couple of weeks ago!) However, it does make it challenging to keep doing all the things that we usually do - like posting on social media.

We're still working had behind the scenes.... Here's what we're excited about at the moment 🤗

Fabulous run, fabulous street art, fabulous company, weather more fabulous than expected 👌☁️

Thank you to the lovely crew who joined me (Vanessa) on this morning's 10k street art running tour of Peckham and the surrounding area. 🥰

It was a joy to spend the morning with you all 🏃‍♀️🖌️🫟

Running the Cambridge Colleges together last weekend... powered by ice lollies and copious amounts of water 🧊🥵

On a bright, sunny and HOT Saturday we tackled all 31 of Cambridge's colleges on one half marathon route. And it was a warm one! 😅 Well done to everyone who completed the run!

Thankfully, this is one of our tours that can be completed on a day and time of your choice, with our commentary guiding you along the route 🏃🏃‍♀️
