We recently cruised on P&O’s Iona to the Norwegian Fjords. What can I say, the fjords and the waterfall were spectacular nothing like we’ve ever experienced before.

Our first port was Stevenger, where we did a rib ride on Lysefjord. Famously recognisable for Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock which rises 1,982 feet above the Lysefjord.

Not only are the fjords long and narrow but they are also as deep as the mountains are high.

Valley of fire state park is just 45 minutes away from Las Vegas. It is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park, the vibrant red sandstone formations found in the park were formed over 150 million years ago during the age of dinosaurs. It is a true paradise for photographers.

Here’s everything you need to know to plan your trip;

🎟️ $15 entrance fee per vehicle.

⏳If you are short on time and want to do just the scenic drive and small stops for viewpoints then you can spend as little as 2 to 3 hours otherwise expect to spend a full day.

🕥 The best time to visit is between October and March when the temperature is cooler. In summer months the heat can be unbearable making it difficult for longer hikes.

🛸 Drones are not permitted in the park.

💦 Bring plenty of water, especially if you plan on hiking.

Below is what we would recommend to see:

🔥 Fire Wave ~ Unique sandstone formations that resembles the ocean wave frozen in time. Popular spot for photographers, offers stunning views. It’s a 1.5 mile round trip. It is similar to the Wave in Northern Arizona which needs a permit to hike.

🔥 Elephant Rock ~ Just as the name suggests, this rock formations resembles an elephant perched above the scenic byway. It is easily accessible from the road. No need to hike.

🔥 Mouses Tank Trail ~ This trail is short and easy and leads to a nasal basin where water collects after rainfall.

🔥 The Scenic Byway ~ The 10.5 mile scenic drive connects the east and west entrance.

We just came back from an amazing weekend trip to Amsterdam a few days ago 🌷

After returning from our trip and sharing our entire holiday on Instagram and taking our clients along with us. A client couldn’t resist wanting us to book her a weekend trip to Amsterdam too. I can’t wait for her to go and have as much fun as we did. She’s also left it on us to plan her the perfect itinerary including lunch and dinner spots.

Our top 3 Amsterdam recommendations are;

• A’dam lookout
A‘dam lookout hosts Europes highest “over the edge” swing, we would recommend pre booking this to avoid disappointment plus it’s cheaper when pre booked.

• Museums
With over 60 museums, Amsterdam has the highest museum density in the world. From Heineken beer museum to Van Gogh museum. So you see, there really is something for everyone in Amsterdam.

• Anne Frank House
Although, still museum but no trip to Amsterdam is complete with out a visit to Anne Franks secret annex which she and her family hid in for two years from the N***s during The world war II. Then later got caught, sadly she didn’t make it back from the concentration camp but her Diary survived and is now one of the most read books in the world.
