WildLens Adventures

WildLens Adventures Growing up in South Africa, I was fortunate to be raised in a family that shared a deep love for nature and wildlife.

Together with our conservation partners, we offer immersive, conservation focused safaris led by professionals, where guests can not only witness the wild, but with every journey help protect it through education and community empowerment From a young age, our lives were intertwined with the outdoors, and some of my most cherished memories are of family trips to iconic reserves like the Kruger Nat

ional Park and Addo Elephant Park. Together with a deep love for the ocean and the beach, these adventures were more than just holidays, they were an education, a glimpse into the raw beauty and intricate ecosystems of Africa. They sparked a lifelong fascination with the natural world and a desire to contribute to its preservation. In 2012, life brought me to London, a city full of opportunity but a world away from the wild landscapes I once called home. While I’ve embraced the experiences and challenges of living abroad, I’ve always felt a longing to reconnect with the continent that I grew up in. The sounds of the bush, the vastness of the savannah, and the incredible wildlife of Africa have always been in my heart, inspiring me to find ways to share these wonders with others and try experience them again for myself on holidays. This passion for nature, my love for photography, combined with my new qualification as a Nature Guide that I gained in 2024, led me to create a business that bridges the gap between my roots and my aspirations. Through this platform, I aim to connect people with Africa’s unparalleled beauty, whether through immersive safaris, stunning wildlife photography, or education about the importance of conservation. My mission is to support and raise awareness for the incredible efforts of conservation organizations across the continent while also providing unforgettable experiences. Every project I undertake is grounded in my belief that we all have a role to play in preserving the natural world. From offering guests the chance to participate in hands-on conservation efforts to capturing the essence of wildlife through my lens, I am committed to making a difference. By sharing the stories and wonders of Africa, I hope to inspire others to protect and cherish our planet’s most precious resources. Whether you’re here to explore safaris, discover photography, or join in the fight for conservation, welcome to a journey that’s as meaningful as it is unforgettable.

A glimpse of what’s to come…

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable 6 night safari in Botswana, hosted by , where we had 8 guests join us across two remarkable areas of the Okavango Delta.

And while there is plenty still to share, this feels like the right place to start.

This huge male lion was one of many standout moments from a trip that delivered exceptional wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and the kind of safari experiences that stay with you long after you leave the bush.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more from the journey, including some of the sightings, stories, camps, and behind-the-scenes moments that made this trip so special.

If you’d like a closer look at what a hosted WildLens safari feels like, stay tuned.

Back to the Okavango Delta

In just a few days, will be heading back to one of Africa’s most extraordinary wilderness areas — the Okavango Delta — this time hosting a group of 8 guests on a 6-night conservation-led safari, hosted by .

It’s a trip we have been looking forward to for months.

This 7-day, 6-night journey (5–11 April 2026) blends intimate safari experiences, expert guiding, conservation engagement, and incredible photography opportunities, all with a clear mission at its core:

100% of profits are donated to conservation.

🌿 Trip Highlights

📍 Destinations - camps
• 3 nights at Little Sable, Khwai Private Reserve (NG18)
• 3 nights at Mokolwane, Xudum Concession (NG29)

🚁 Scenic Flights Included
• Light aircraft flights over the Delta
• A helicopter transfer between camps — one of the most unique ways to experience this landscape

🛶 Activities
• Game drives in predator-rich wilderness
• Seasonal mokoro excursions and boat safaris
• Scenic helicopter flight experiences
• Guided birding in Africa’s largest heronries

The image in this post was taken on a previous visit to the Okavangot Delta — a leopard at sunset, posing on a termite mound before disappearing back into the bush.

Moments like this are what we hope for… but as always in the wild, nothing is guaranteed.

For many of the guests joining, this will be their first safari of this kind, and that’s always the most rewarding part. There’s nothing quite like seeing Africa through someone else’s eyes for the first time.

If you’d like to follow the journey as it unfolds, we will be sharing regular updates from the field on Instagram:

This short clip shows why we so excited about Camp — days that aren’t just game drives, but a rare mix of wildlife experiences by vehicle, on foot, and on the river:

- Game drives (excellent for big game and predator chances)
- Walking safaris (tracking, signs, and a deeper connection to the bush)
- Boat cruises (golden light, elephants on the banks, hippo, crocs, birds)
- Canoeing (quiet, iconic Zambezi experience — amazing for photography)
- Tiger fishing (seasonal/conditions-dependent)

It’s quiet, uncrowded, and incredibly immersive, with that calm Zambezi light that makes everything feel unhurried.

We are hosting a WildLens Adventures add-on safari at Anabezi (Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia) from 12–15 April (3 nights / 4 days) and I still have TWO guest spaces available.

A big part of why we are proud to partner here is the operator behind it. Anabezi is now part of the Dulini Group ( ), renowned for exceptional guiding and service in South Africa’s Greater Kruger (Sabi Sand). What we genuinely respect is that their impact goes beyond a beautiful safari, through the esiDulini Community Trust and local partnerships, they support practical community upliftment around their camps (including education and ongoing support). It’s values-led, thoughtful tourism, exactly the kind of partner we like working with.

What’s included:

- All-inclusive luxury stay (meals + drinks)
- A full programme of activities (land + water + walking options)
- The scenic domestic charter flight: Lusaka ↔ Jeki
- A hosted experience with me on the ground (small group)

You simply book your international flights to Lusaka (I’m happy to advise on timings) — then it’s seamless from there.

If you’d like the itinerary, DM us “ZAMBEZI” (or comment “ZAMBEZI” and I’ll message you).

This Is Why We Travel

Some trips are about the wildlife. Others are about the people you share it with. This trip certainly was both.

From bouncing along the tracks on the safari vehicle at first light, to stepping quietly through the bush on foot, and finally sitting back in our camp chairs with lunch in hand on the banks of the Luangwa River on our very last day, this trip was a reminder of how special these shared moments really are.

Watching elephants cross the river, making their way through the large pod of snorting hippos while enjoyed a cold one, listening to birds call from the trees, and swapping stories between sightings — it’s in these slower moments that Africa really sinks in. No rush. No noise. Just good friends, wild places, and unforgettable memories.

South Luangwa certainly was a place that made time feels different — and friendships feel stronger.

Grateful for the laughs, the learning, and the privilege of experiencing this incredible corner of Zambia together.

South Luangwa Magic

Some places stay with you — and for us, South Luangwa is one of them.

Every evening felt like stepping into a living painting: warm light over the
Luangwa River, the distant call of hippos, and that quiet sense of connection only wild places bring.

Here’s a short video from our recent WildLens Adventures safari — a celebration of sunsets, scenery, and the spirit of Africa.

We’re already planning our next Luangwa safari for 2026, with full details to be shared in January.

An Unforgettable Journey Through South Luangwa, Zambia 🇿🇲 🐾

Our latest WildLens Adventures safari to South Luangwa National Park was nothing short of extraordinary — a week filled with breathtaking wildlife encounters, serene landscapes, and moments that truly remind us why we fell in love with Africa’s wilderness.

From majestic leopards draped across tree branches to elephants wandering along the Luangwa River, african painted wolves ralaxing after the morning’s hunt, and an astonishing array of birdlife, every day revealed something new and spectacular. The park’s ever-changing scenery — from mopane woodlands to riverine forests — provided the perfect canvas for both photographers and nature lovers alike.

What makes South Luangwa so special is its raw authenticity. It’s one of Africa’s last great wildernesses — where wildlife roams free, and you can still feel that wild, untamed spirit of Africa.

As we look back on this incredible adventure, we’re filled with gratitude for our guests who shared in the experience, the passionate guides and conservationists who bring this ecosystem to life, and the unforgettable moments we captured through our lenses.

📸 Here are some of our Top wildlife moments from this safari — from predators to birdlife, and everything in between.

And this is just the beginning…
We’ll be heading back to Zambia in 2026, with new routes and even more opportunities to explore, photograph, and contribute to conservation in one of Africa’s most pristine environments.

🐆 Wildlife Wednesday – The Cheetah

Sleek, swift, and built for speed – the Cheetah is Africa’s ultimate sprinter and a true icon of the savanna.

🧠 Did You Know?
The cheetah is the fastest land mammal on Earth, capable of reaching speeds up to 100–110 km/h (62–68 mph) in short bursts covering distances of 200–300 meters. Unlike other big cats, the cheetah’s lightweight frame, enlarged adrenal glands, and non-retractable claws give it unmatched acceleration.

Sadly, despite its prowess, the cheetah is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, with fewer than 7,500 individuals left in the wild, with the vast majority in Africa.

🍽️ Diet & Role in the Ecosystem
Cheetahs are specialist hunters, relying on speed and stealth rather than strength. Their diet includes:
• Small to medium antelope (impala, springbok, gazelles)
• Hares and ground-dwelling birds
• Occasionally young wildebeest

By preying on the swiftest and most alert individuals, cheetahs play a role in maintaining healthy antelope populations, strengthening the genetics of the herds.

👨‍👩‍👦 Social Life
Unlike lions, cheetahs are not social in large prides. Instead, their structure is unique:
• Males often form small coalitions (usually brothers), which boosts their hunting success and helps defend territories.
• Females are solitary, except when raising cubs, which they fiercely protect and teach to hunt from a young age.
• Cubs have a high mortality rate due to predation, making maternal care vital to survival.
