In our final post on Dubrovnik, one thing that genuinely surprised us? Just how good the food was.

Over a few days, we enjoyed everything from fine dining overlooking the city walls to long lunches by the sea, fresh Adriatic seafood, local Croatian wines and sunset dinners with unforgettable views.

Five restaurants we'd happily recommend after experiencing them ourselves:

🍽️ Nautika – exceptional food with one of the most iconic views in Dubrovnik.

🍽️ Restaurant More – relaxed waterfront dining beside the Adriatic.

🍽️ Gradska Kavana Arsenal – perfectly positioned in the heart of the Old Town. Great for a lunch break after walking the city walls.

🍽️ La Villa, Lopud Island – a beautiful lunch spot whilst exploring the Elaphiti Islands. Reachable by boat only.

🍽️ Maslina Tavern at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace – Mediterranean dishes, sea views and some spectacular sunsets.

What we loved most was how much the setting became part of the experience. In Dubrovnik, the views are often just as memorable as the food itself.
