I offer tours of the Square Mile, including tailor-made ones and I cover the City's history, its institutions, churches, green spaces, ceremonies and quirks. This vine, planted by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown in 1768, is the oldest vine in England. Come September, with tender loving care, the grapes will be ready for picking and eating.

Always good to see a member of the Royal Family when guiding clients. Last week we saw The Princess Royal leave St James’s Palace on the way to Hyde Park for the Gun Salute commemorating three years since the Coronation.

And so, after 9 years, I’ve just led my last walk around Hammersmith for . In those years I’ve led over 40 walks, with subjects ranging from rock music and film locations, to pubs, schools, wartime, ghosts and architecture. Today’s walk covered nonconformist worship, a niche but interesting subject which attracted 24 attendees. I’ve much enjoyed researching the history of W6, W12 and W14. I shall miss all my fellow walkers very much but I hope to see you on one of my walks in the future. Thank you!
