TextileSeekers

TextileSeekers Slow Creative Textile Retreats. TextleSeekers takes travellers on a journey into the historical and cultural heart of a country.

Collaborating with native tribes as guides, we bring you an authentic experience with textiles and traditions that are deeply woven into the daily lives of the local people. In the interest of preserving cultures, we have designed tours centered around our philosophy of ‘slow travel’, which is the practice of building connections between visitors and a community, rather than bussing tourists from

one destination to another. Meet artists and craftspeople, study ancient weave and dye techniques, explore traditional markets alive with local culture, discover handpicked galleries, and visit and stay with local experts and artisans.

COLLECTION 04 | ADORNMENT

Some materials become more beautiful with age. Others disappear from everyday life altogether.

Buffalo horn has been used across Asia for centuries, valued for its strength, lightness and the unique patterns that run through every piece. No sheet is ever identical. Each carries subtle shifts in colour and grain that cannot be manufactured. Lacquer has an equally long history.

Available online, only 10 pieces produced for this release.

OBJECT 24 LACQUER BOWL & LID SET

This lacquered bowl is designed with a fitted lid, creating a compact vessel for storing small objects or serving as a sculptural container. The interior is finished in a deep high-gloss black, contrasted by an exterior coated in colour that aligns with the palette developed for our collaboration object with Nick Tran. The balance of hand-carved wood and lacquer textures gives the piece a refined, contemporary presence. Each set undergoes more than twenty individual lacquer applications and polishing stages.

Only five pieces of each colour were made exclusively for the launch now available online.
