⭐ Start your day with a stroll along East Looe Beach, coffee in hand from one of our local cafés. Don't forget to explore the rock pools along the shoreline.

⭐ Pick up a sweet treat from a traditional Cornish bakery before heading out on The South West Coast Path. For a woodland adventure, discover the peaceful trails at Kilminorth Woods.

⭐ Take time to browse Looe's independent shops, watch the fishing boats come and go, and soak up the atmosphere around the harbour.

🎉 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 A Weekend of Celebration in Looe 🇬🇧 🇫🇷 🎉

This weekend, Looe welcomed visitors from our twin town of Quiberon in Brittany as we celebrated 50 years of friendship between our two coastal communities.

From the Flag Raising Ceremony at the War Memorial to guided tours, a boat trip around Looe Island, traditional Cornish hospitality and a celebratory lunch, the weekend provided a wonderful opportunity to come together and mark this special milestone.

For five decades, the twinning between Looe and Quiberon has fostered cultural exchange, lasting friendships and strong community connections across the Channel.

Thank you to everyone who joined the celebrations and helped make the anniversary weekend such a memorable occasion.

Celebrating 50 Years of Friendship 🎉

Next weekend, Looe will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its twinning with Quiberon, a beautiful coastal town in Brittany, France.

Hear from the Mayor of Looe as we look ahead to this special milestone and a weekend of celebrations marking five decades of friendship, cultural exchange and community connections.
