Life isn’t always easy, but we want to help make it that bit brighter. From today, we’re saving a special seat by the sea each month for someone who could use a little good news, good food and Cornish views. And we need your help…

We’re asking you, as friends of Talland, to nominate someone who deserves a reason to smile. Each month, we’ll read through all nominations and quietly invite someone to join us for lunch or afternoon tea with a plus one. A few hours, on a day of their choosing, to let time by the sea work its magic and ease their worries for a little while 🌊

But here is the thing. We don’t want you to tag them here, or to share this post. Instead, we’re encouraging quiet kindness and asking you to nominate them privately. Just look for ‘Seat by the Sea’ on our website and fill in the very short form, or drop a note into reception next time you’re passing.

There is no closing date or deadline, just a chance to encourage kindness in a world that needs it most. And that feels like a very good thing to do…
