Sit on the balcony and take in the wonderful sea views, wait as the dusk falls and the twinkling lights of Looe emerge through the night air. Take a dip in the hot tub with a glass in hand and listen to the waves on the beach below. Take the children and dog down on the beach for a paddle, watch the waves roll in and the sun set.
Developed from the villageโs old pilchard cellars but now a modern and well equipped holiday cottage, The Fish Cellars sits on the seafront at Portwrinkle, near Looe. Step outside and walk down the slipway to the aged harbour and the first of 2 beaches in the village, separated by a large expanse of rock pools waiting to be explored. Walking distance to the sea front cafรฉ, perfect for ice creams, and the local pub which is dog friendly and serves excellent food in relaxed surroundings. Known by the locals as the place to go in the summer to avoid the tourist crowds, what better recommendation can you have.
Sleeping 8 with one ensuite kingsize double, a further kingsize double adjacent to the family bathroom, a bunk room sleeping 2 and the kingsize sofa bed in the Cinema Room with its own ensuite facilities, The Fish cellars offers flexible accommodation whether there are just the two of you or a house full. From the open plan living area on the top floor look out through the floor to ceiling windows across the bay. Watch the sun glinting off the water or look on as a storm heads its way towards the land.
Give the children some freedom down in the Cinema Room, the perfect teenage den, with the large screen TV and cinema sound system, table football and games consoles, whilst the adults soak up the sun on the south west facing balcony.
With private allocated parking for 2 cars right by the door you wont be hunting for a space and if there are lots of you converging for a family get together there is further parking available just 100m from the property.
Well equipped throughout with quality cotton linens and big fluffy towels your holiday will be memorable, whether you are there for a fortnight or just the weekend.

Alison was a super host, really helpful and the instructions / guide provided were comprehensive. We enjoyed the nearby Finnygook Inn and The Inn on the Shore a few miles down the coastal path in Downderry. The early morning sea dips and hot tub were a real treat for the family.
