Turner Iceni, part of the privately owned and funded Turner Group of Companies head quartered in Glasgow, operate as an established provider of managed work-packages into wind sector projects. As the product of two established wind sector companies, Turner Wind Services and Iceni Marine Services, Turner Iceni benefit from over 10 years’ experience in delivering services to the on and offshore wind

markets. Specialities include the provision of O&M turbine services, asset management including condition monitoring, inspection works and other associated services. The Company also owns and operates an industry leading fleet of 11 crew transfer vessels. Turner Iceni have been involved in every stage of the wind farm life cycle. Experience has been gained from supporting survey and planning work in the early stages, to assisting asset owners, Tier1 suppliers and OEM customers with re-powering, certification and life extension decision making at the possible end of a project. Our No 1 objective is to deliver safe and time/cost efficient solutions to our clients using cutting edge technology/service methods and class leading vessels with fully trained, equipped and experienced technicians.

We are looking to speak with vessel masters to cover our fleet in the UK!

Job Type: Full time/ permanent role

Guaranteed 14 days per month year-round with opportunity to increase over busy season

Vessels are based throughout the UK, travel is required

Minimum certificate requirements:

🔵Master 200 CoC

🔵Full STCW 95

🔵ENG1

🔵Slinger Banksman

*Previous experience and mechanical knowledge preferred.

✅ You will need:

🔵Expert knowledge of vessel handling

🔵Safe working practices and ability to lead and supervise others in a safe working environment

🔵Effective communication skills and a positive can do attitude

🔵Familiarity with Marine diesel engines and auxiliary equipment, sufficient enough to see that maintenance is carried out and are defects reported

Schedule:

12- hour shift

Allowances paid:

Food, travel, accommodation

🎉Exciting Leadership Change at Turner Iceni!🎉

We would like to announce that James Lucas is the new General Manager of Turner Iceni!

With over a decade of experience in the maritime industry, James has developed strong leadership and operational expertise. Starting out as a Deck Rating he gained valuable experience on Windfarm Installation Vessels and Anchor Handler’s with Swire Pacific Offshore in the North Sea and Africa. In 2017, James joined Turner Iceni, quickly advancing from crew member to Deputy Operations Manager, and then to Operations Manager in 2020. Going forward as General Manager, he will strive to enhance operational efficiency, alongside the highest safety standards, to ensure both customer satisfaction and to help to provide a strong foundation, and strategy, on which the business can grow and develop.

🌟Turner Iceni would like to welcome Luke Aldridge, Commercial Manager, to their team🌟

Luke is a proven leader and has broad range of experience scoping a variety of sectors. In his previously role at 21 Degrees, Luke ran the East Region of the UK where he oversaw the sale, installation and maintenance of bespoke renewable solutions. He managed a team of office-based staff and engineers and prided himself in leading from the front, working proactively in all departments ensuring the business's success. Previous to this, Luke had a focused commercial role working on power purchase agreements and compliance for large scale solar carports and roof arrays. In his earlier early career, Luke worked for a variety of sectors including: forensic mental health services, universities, charities and social enterprises. Luke also holds a first-class degree in politics from the University of East Anglia and holds an IOSH certificate. Luke is aiming to create a robust strategy in his role as Head of Sales and Commercial and is excited to be a part of the team.
