I think people would be surprised at how much goes into planning a holiday before anyone even gets on a plane! 😂

And to be fair, I wouldn’t expect everyone to know what goes on behind the scenes.

One of my favourite parts of the job is finding that hotel that just fits. Not necessarily the most expensive one or the one everyone’s talking about, but the one I know is going to suit the people I’m booking it for.

Because two couples could give me exactly the same budget and I’d recommend completely different holidays depending on what they enjoy.

And that’s why I love doing what I do. It’s never just about booking a hotel and some flights. 💕

You might be surprised by some of the holidays I can arrange 👀

One minute I’m planning a gorgeous adults-only escape in Greece, the next I’m researching an African safari, a luxury cruise or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

And that’s one of my favourite things about being a travel agent. No two holidays are ever quite the same.

I think people sometimes associate travel agents with booking flights and hotels, but there’s so much more to what I can arrange.

From beautiful family holidays and honeymoons to multi-centre adventures, escorted tours and those incredible bucket-list experiences, I love finding something that really suits the people travelling.

And it’s not about sending everyone to the same popular hotels or destinations. It’s about getting to know what you’d love from your time away and finding the right holiday for you.

Hi, I’m Danielle 👋

I’ve been working in travel almost 10 years, and I can genuinely say I love what I do.

Although getting here wasn’t quite the straightforward route I imagined when I first wanted to work in travel at 16.

Now I spend my days planning everything from family holidays and honeymoons to cruises, multi-centres and those big once-in-a-lifetime trips.

For me, it’s never just about finding a nice hotel. I want to know what you actually want from your holiday, because the place everyone else loves isn’t necessarily the right one for you.

A lot of my business comes from people coming back to me and recommending me to their friends and family, and I’ll never take for granted that people trust me with their holidays ❤️

So if you’re new here, hi! You’ll find plenty of beautiful places, hotels I genuinely rate, travel ideas, my opinions, a bit of my life and probably the occasional reminder that you really should book the holiday ✈️

One thing you probably don't see when I put together a holiday is how many hotels I DON'T recommend.

I might start with six or seven possibilities and end up with just two that I'd genuinely be happy to put in front of a client.

Sometimes it's the location. Sometimes the room isn't quite right, or the hotel doesn't have the atmosphere I know they're hoping for.

I would much rather spend a little longer finding the right one than recommend somewhere just because it looks lovely.

That's what makes this job so interesting. No two clients are quite the same.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. You might know exactly where you want to go, or you might just know you desperately need a holiday!

Either way, I’ll help you work out the details, research the options and put together something that genuinely suits you.

If you’re flying halfway around the world, I want you to really make a trip of it 😂✈️

Long-haul doesn’t have to mean flying all that way, staying in one place and coming straight home.

Sometimes I’ll look at a trip and think… hang on, we could make this even BETTER.

Maybe that’s Singapore and Bali, Tokyo and Okinawa, or Sydney and Melbourne.

Not because I want to squeeze EVERYTHING into one holiday, quite the opposite.

I want to pair places that naturally work together, giving you enough time to actually enjoy each one and only adding another stop when it makes the trip better.

Less quick, pack the suitcase again, and more while we’re here, this would be amazing.

Sri Lanka really does give you a bit of everything ❤️

Tea-covered hills, that incredible train journey, beautiful boutique hotels, elephants and leopards in Yala, then the Indian Ocean to finish.

But it’s the way this trip brings it all together that I love. You’re not choosing between a gorgeous hotel and actually experiencing the country. You get both.

I've been thinking about how lovely it is when someone comes back to me to book another holiday.

There's something really nice about already knowing the kind of places someone enjoys, whether they prefer a quiet boutique hotel, somewhere with a bit more going on or a beautiful family resort where everyone is happy.

And sometimes the next holiday is completely different from the last!
