With the Autumn in full swing and many campsites closed accross the North of Scotland a reminder that we are open all year round here at ForbesCroft Huts & Motorhome Aire.

Suitable for up to x3 self Contained vans we offer a safe, quiet rural stopover including hardstanding, freshwater and EHU.

📍Where:

2 Miles from village of Lybster on the Caithness Coast, 15 miles south of Wick. Rural spot with dark skies. Great access for visiting sites such as Whaligoe Steps and the Camster Cairns.

💵💰Cost:

£10 for hardstanding and freshwater
£15 for hardstanding, freshwater & Electric Hook Up

Tonight is our last booking of the season in our cabins 🥳 Jess is lioking forward to a well earned rest despite having a quiet final month.

As always the motorhome Aire will remain open all year round.

Looking for a small and rural site to stay at during your travels on the NC500 then look no further!

WHO WE ARE - ForbesCroft Huts & Motorhome Aire is a small 3 space CAMPRA certified motorhome aire with 2 cosy Shepherds Hut.

WHERE TO FIND US - We are based 2 miles from the village of a Lybster on the North East Caithness Coast, 15 miles south of Wick and 6 miles south of Whaligoe Steps.

OPENING TIMES - We are open ALL YEAR ROUND

MOTORHOME COST - We have 2 price bands and are setup for self contained vehicles

£10 - overnight parking & freshwater ✔️
£15 - overnight parking, freshwater & EHU ☑️

*NO black waste disposal

SHEPHERDS Huts - fully licenced with 👇

🛏️ 1 double and 1 single bed (bedding provided)
🍳 Cooking setup
🍷🍺 Small fridge
🚽🚾 Your own private bathroom block next to the hut (towels & toiletries included)
🔥 Fire pit

Out with our wee helper this morning weeding and de-grassing one of our Motorhome bays. Slow work but keeps our hardstanding areas looking fresh. Bit of strimming also required

Doing some of our favourite things today. A trip to Annie's Bakery Ltd for lunch, then along to Dunnet beach with the family. With the sun out it was even more spectacular than normal.

Brought some cakes home to see us through the next couple of days but photos just don't do them justice... An almond blondie, millionaires shortbread and a mars bar slice all about the size of an adults hand!
