In the mood for a weekend walk?

Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership has just released its new Lydney, Food, Farm & Forest trails map with four walking trails that start from Lydney Train Station.

Trails include a gentle walk down to Lydney Harbour to visit the new Hips Social harbourside café and a walk up to Lydney Park Estate.

Popped into the lovely new cafe Coco & Bliss in lydney today, what a fantastic place, not only was the coffee amazing but the home made cakes were absolutely delicious too and to top it off it is very dog friendly!! What more could you ask for 👌 ☕️ 🍰 🐾🐶 highly recommended!!

We just love seeing the steam engines in motion, especially as they are just over the road from the lodge. Well worth booking if you are staying here.

We are so pleased to be able to reopen on July 4th. We have worked hard to prepare everything and we can’t wait to welcome our guests to this beautiful place.

We're getting ready to welcome you back...

Our pubs are preparing their beer gardens (we can't wait), our attractions are putting social distancing measures in place, our accommodation providers are getting ready to welcome guests and all our businesses are doing everything they can to help you feel reassured and comfortable visiting again.

With many businesses in England and Wales able to reopen in July we'll be doing our best to keep you updated about what there is to see and do, where you can stay and where you can enjoy some great food and drink here in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley: http://www.wyedeantourism.co.uk/reopening
