A little fact on World Book Day….Did you know Jane Austen was so taken with her visits to Lyme Regis that she gave it a starring role in her novel Persuasion!

Our beautiful town of Lyme Regis would become the backdrop to one of the most famous scenes in nineteenth century literature and has been a centre of literary pilgrimage ever since.

Comedy night for us to enjoy later! This historic gem, dating back to 1806, originally started as sea water baths with water pumped directly from the sea below. 🌊🏊‍♂️

Now, it’s a hub of entertainment, hosting comedy, musical, and theatrical performances. Plus, it’s home to community-led events like festivals, craft fairs, and exhibitions.

🌞☀️ The sun's back, and guess what? As soon as the kids head back to school! 😂 Well done to all those that made it through the summer chaos! This is the kind of treat needed today - a Frozen Elderflower Mojito from Baboo in Lyme Regis, available in town or at their kiosk behind the beach🍹

Just to mention, I might have tested the drink before this photo was taken!!! It was full before! 😂
