'We had an excellent stay at Pepperpot. The accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped with a beautiful outlook over the owner’s garden. Within walking distance of the village and well located for visiting both coastal and inland resorts. Beautiful area.

We really are lucky to live in such a pretty part of the UK. This time of the year we have some spectacular displays which really makes us appreciate what we have on our doorstep. The forest is alive with new life, the cute foals and fluffy baby donkeys, in the next few weeks the heather will start to bloom turning areas into that distinctive purple colour. Tomorrow is the Round the Island Race so we will be walking towards Hurst Castle to see the boats on their way up and past The Needles.

You might have spotted this, the Gun is just down the road from us at the lovely Keyhaven.

A great attraction right on the doorstep. Hurst Castle is one of our favourites, nice walk with coffee and cake or ice-cream on a sunny day. Sometimes combined with a ferry trip and a stop at The Gun Inn Keyhaven on the way back. 😎🚶‍♀️🚶👣🍦🍰🍻🍷🏰🌊

This is a really fun local event. Pop up restaurants, music and hopefully sunshine (although that is not guaranteed!!)... Lymington is the next town along from Milford and for those who like a walk is walking distance along the seawall from Keyhaven.
