In Vilamoura, Portugal, Sammie-Jo Coffin steered Bellamy II into third in the 3* 1.40m speed with an entry of 88 starters. The 13-year-old Cardento/Baloubet Du Rouet mare finished four sec behind the pace. Jude Burgess jumped into sixth on Comeback De Fremis and Sammie-Jo took ninth on second ride Willem De Lux.
Howard Ephgrave rode Felton into second in the mammoth 109-strong 3* 1.20m speed, the Clinton/Heartbreaker nine-year-old finishing 1.54 sec behind the winner. Abbe Hosegood was third on Qualin Du Luban with Abbie Summers in fifth on Quantas, Gemma Tattersall eased Hot Air into sixth, Ben Dalton took seventh on Renkum Off Limit II and Jack Nicklin was ninth with Cwiebus KK. Tim Page finished 12th on Grantstown Casino Royal, Freya Hough steered Frensham into 16th, Daniel Moseley took 17th on Plaisir De Reville and Chris Franks guided CSF Eye Wonder into 19th.
An easy double clear six sec off the winning time put Emma Stoker and Cool Cash into 10th place in the 72-strong 1.45m two-phase. Four faults dropped brothers William and Olli Fletcher on Persimmon and KBIS Caicos down to 16th and 17th.
British-based Joao Charlesworth riding for Portugal claimed sixth and eighth with Hartleymanor Venus and The Processor in the 73-entry 3* 1.35m two-phase. Chris Franks claimed 11th on Mega Times, Skye Higgin was 16th with Brooklyn De Larquey and Leo Lamb slotted Kardentox Van Het Gevahof into 18th.
Naomi Batts rode the 13-year-old Little Business into third in the 53-entry 1* 1.10m speed 2.78 sec off the pace. Ellie Burrell Squibb, 12, eased the 21-year-old Rusty into eighth with Naomi picking up 10th on second ride Billy Starlet. Freya Webb was 12th on Ceasar, Arabella Prior finished 14th with Friso, Chloe French took 19th on Elisan and Nissi Ladell claimed 20 th on Ginaselli VD Beekzijde.
