We have received this review and thought we would share it with our members and people who support our campsite:

'Lastly ; 1x friendly but nosy dog walker with bald head and glasses. He spent 5 mins dissing the place and telling me the person who runs the camp is a crook. We looked into this online and found none to be true- so obviously a local with a grudge. He said the camp has a banning order- but we couldn't find one. If you're reading this you know who you are you miserable old t**t ! Quality visitors are contributing to your economy ! Go get a life !!! '

We received this great review this morning from a recent visitor “The bell tent was great! It had everything we needed with kitchen utensils, stove, etc., and even a cool box! Very comfy double bed and cosy fairy lights. The toilets and bathrooms are perfect and very clean. The lady who comes round every day was very friendly and welcoming. We liked that the site was quite private and had a very friendly environment amongst guests. We will definitely come and stay again when we are next in the area!” 💕💕💕

We love hearing your stories when you stay at Stony Down.
Have a read of this kind review -

"We loved the whole setting in a forest, it felt very enchanted and the trees were beautiful.
We had our own bathroom with toilet, so no sharing. It had locks and was very clean.
There is a sink area to wash dishes all clean, a large shared fridge to keep food if you want.
We loved it and are already talking about returning and telling our friends about it and see if they want to come too.
Our kids didn't want to tour the local coast but asked to stay in the campsite and explore the forest instead.
It's so peaceful, there's six other tents but not to close to each other, so felt like we was alone in forest.
We used the firepit to cook our meals every night under the stars
It was a truly magical first time camping experience. We was very lucky to have found this special place"
