Hello Yewdale fans! Some sadhappy news for you/us.

We’ve been posted to Lancashire!

This means we can live in our own home for the first time.

But it does mean that as of 14 October 2025 Yewdale won’t be available to rent any more. So if anyone was thinking about another stay this year, these are the dates available. (Pictured)

Thank you to everyone who has come and enjoyed our home and left such wonderful reviews. I hope you all enjoyed making memories in Lytham.

Not sure we can claim that winter has been and gone yet but we’ve certainly got some lovely reminders of spring to walk amongst and tons of fab new cafes snd restaurants to try along Lytham high street.

So many stunning churches and interesting architecture to see in Lytham and St Anne’s! Sykes Holiday Cottages

One of the most recognised and admired buildings on the Lancashire coast - the Grade II listed Fairhaven United Reformed Church widely referred to as 'The White Church'.
The founding elders wanted something 'distinctive' so Byzantine-like architecture and white Ceramo blocks were chosen. Completed in 1912, it has an interior designed in the shape of the Greek cross and beautiful stained glass panels.

I love this innovative use of Christmas trees! It is very odd to see the tide so far in, usually Lytham and St Annes enjoy expanses of sand. Something new every time!
