⛔ The paddling pool at St Annes is currently closed for maintenance while our team carries out some repairs. We're working to reopen it as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

In the meantime, we'd like to take the opportunity to remind visitors that this is a free facility for everyone in the community to enjoy. We kindly ask all users to treat the pool and its surroundings with care and respect, so that families and little ones can continue making the most of this brilliant local amenity all summer long.

He did it! 🥾 Fylde's very own Tourism Tim has completed his latest walking challenge, trading the coast for country lanes as he trekked through the heart of rural Fylde - from Moss Side Station all the way to a well-earned lemonade at The Eagle in Weeton!

Taking in Wrea Green, Kirkham, Wesham, Mowbreck, Medlar and Greenhalgh along the way, Tim proved once again that there's so much more to Fylde than meets the eye.

Not bad for a Thursday 👏

Today's the day! 🥾

Our Head of Tourism, Tim, is exploring the rural heart of Fylde that his 41-mile border walk last September couldn't reach.

Setting off at 10am, the route takes in Wrea Green, Kirkham, Wesham, Mowbreck, Medlar and Greenhalgh, with Tim due to arrive at The Eagle at Weeton around 4pm.

Local walks guide and author Steve Garrill will be joining him along the way, and members of the public and walking groups are welcome to join for part or all of the route.

Before you arrive at our beaches, make sure to:
✅ Establish an identifiable meeting point – like our brightly coloured Beach Hub!
✅ Dress children in bright colours
✅ Write your mobile number on their arm with waterproof pen OR use our free wristbands, available from the Beach Hub
✅ Set clear boundaries for play areas
