✨✈️ An evening with TUI at Manchester Airport ✈️✨

I’m spending this evening at the Manchester Airport Runway Viewing Park for a fantastic TUI trade event, and what an evening it’s been so far!

I’ve had the chance to meet some amazing suppliers, enjoy some fantastic Caribbean food 🇨🇺🌴 and, most importantly, learn so much more about the holidays and experiences I can offer my customers.

Tonight’s agenda has included sessions with the Dominican Republic Tourist Board, Ocean Signature Resorts, Manchester Airport, Marella Cruises, TUI Tours, RIU, Karisma, Crystal and TUI Hotels.

Events like this are so valuable — it means I can keep building my knowledge, making those all-important industry connections and bringing even more first-hand information and recommendations back to you. ❤️

I’ll be taking lots away from tonight to help me find those perfect holidays for my customers! 🌴☀️🛳️

❤️ The youngest member of K.Betts Travel had to take a photo into school of her favourite place... and there was only ever going to be one choice! 🥹🌴

She chose a picture with Landi at our favourite family hotel, Landmar Costa Los Gigantes in Tenerife. 💙

This hotel holds such a special place in our hearts. Not only have we made incredible family memories there, but it's also become our best-selling family hotel, with so many of my wonderful clients returning home saying it's one of the best holidays they've ever had!

✈️ Good News for Families Travelling This Summer! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎉

From today, children aged 8 and over can now use UK eGates when arriving back into the UK, making passport control quicker and easier for families. 🙌

To use the eGates, children must:
✅ Be aged 8 or over
✅ Be at least 120cm (3ft 11in) tall
✅ Be travelling with an adult
✅ Have an eligible biometric passport

The change is expected to help around 1.5 million more children use the automated passport gates each year, helping to reduce queues and speed up arrivals.
