That golden hour shift when the tipis light up and the party moves outside. ✨

Bunting overhead, string lights catching the last of the sunset, and guests spilling out onto the grass to keep the conversation going. It's one of our favourite moments of any wedding day, when the space just holds the whole evening together without anyone having to think about it.

Four tipis, one walled garden, and a summer wedding that made the most of it. 🎪🌿

There's a reason gardens like this work so well for tipi weddings. The walls give a sense of privacy, the greenery does the styling for you, and the light through canvas at golden hour is hard to beat. Bunting catching the breeze, guests spilling out onto the lawn, and everything feeling relaxed rather than staged.

It's one of our favourite kinds of setup: a space that already has character, so the tipis just settle right into it.

Best evenings look like this.

Tipis lit up from the inside, string lights up against the sky, everyone at the tables talking, laughing, taking their time over the evening.

This is usually the best part of the night. The formal bits are done, people have relaxed, and it just settles into good conversation and better music. Doesn't matter if it's a wedding, a birthday, or a work do, this is the hour that sticks with people.

Quick myth to bust: you don't need to be getting married to book a tipi. 🎉

We've pitched them for 40th birthdays, product launches, family reunions, and one very memorable retirement party that ran well past midnight. No aisle, no seating plan, no "first dance", just a proper space to gather people who matter, with none of the stiffness of a hired hall or hotel function room.

If you've been putting off celebrating something because "a tipi feels like a wedding thing", it isn't. It's just a really good way to bring people together outdoors.
