Happy New Year folks! (Hope it’s not too late to say that!) Team DMBinS are all back on it and we are excited to start a new year.
A super busy couple of years are on the cards for Scottish Mountain Biking and we have hit the ground running.
We have so many exciting projects on the go and will be expanding our team in the next few weeks with two new, pivotal South of Scotland posts, based in the Tweed Valley.
We are in the process of building a new tourism microsite which will be hosted on our brand new website and will provide a whole suite of tools, information, and media to help businesses across Scotland who want to increase their offer to visiting mountain bikers.
We are continuing to work across the Highlands and Aberdeenshire on numerous projects and with projects across the country as they prepare applications a share of the Cycling Facilities Fund.
Our Trail Therapy project is helping individuals across Tayside and Lanarkshire and we will be sharing further insights into this work shortly. Including further opportunities to catch our film, Recovery.
At a strategic level, we are working with the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships folks to prepare for this historic event and VisitScotland, on a project to showcase Scotland to a huge audience.
We will also be working with some pretty exciting athletes, more on that very soon.
With the DIRTT project gathering pace and our Christine entrenched in leadership plans, it is going to be a busy and very exciting few months ahead.
We will of course keep you all updated on these projects, trail updates following the storm damage and all the information and help you will need to keep riding safe this winter.
Here's to an awesome 2022!
Team DMBinS 😊👊
