What a beautiful September day. Lunch at Ravenscar and then a walk along the cliff top(nit too close to the edge though).

Finished resurfaced bath. Very pleased, given it a new lease of life. I could do to book the same treatment for myself.

Pleasant evening in Scarborough. Fish and chips from North Bay Fisheries eaten in Peasholm Park and then a walk along the Marine Drive. Just 45 minutes away from the cottage at my driving speed(slow).

Well just had www.yorkshirebathresurfacing.co.uk to smarten up the scratches and surface on the bath in the cottage. So far, looking really good. Can't wait for the big unveil after 48 hours, so watch this space for further photos. Pictures below show the old, tired surface. I'll add more pictures in the comments as we progress.

Found a special place today well into Wykeham Forest with a super view across Troutsdale. Only 30 minutes from the cottage. Marked as the Raptor viewpoint. Didn't actually see any raptors there today, but the weather maybe wasn't quite right?
Just realised I was looking for the wrong sort of raptor!!😏
Hope to see some of you soon at 4 Wellgarth, Swinton, Malton.

Not that I want to put folks off staying in the cottage, but how exciting would this be? A night in a Seaking helicopter!

Still lots of availability for the cottage. Lots of lovely places within easy driving distance and the petrol in Malton is priced very reasonably!
You can be at the coast in 45 minutes, North Yorkshire Moors in 15 minutes and York has good train links or Park and Ride.

Interesting way to spend an hour in sunny Scarborough- watching the dredger in the mouth of the harbour.
Still a cold easterly wind, but the sunshine is glorious.
