It’s been 633 days since my last post, so I thought I should get back into the swing of things. This is the lower part of the passenger side front door of a Kia Picanto. A cyclist came out of a side turning between parked cars and ran straight into side of the car as the owners were happily on their way to a dealership to look at buying a new car, and trading this one in. They didn’t make it to their destination as they knew the dealership would have knocked them down the cost of a bodyshop repair, which would have been in the high hundreds. So they called me in the hope that I could repair it and get it good enough to pass an inspection. The overall repair wasn’t quite perfect as the metal was stretched, but it was pretty close. You couldn’t really see anything unless you were on your hands and knees studying the area. The whole repair was done without the use of filler or paint, and was completed within 3 hours on the clients driveway. Another happy customer 😃
