As some of you know, Rich also builds bespoke cabins of varying shape & sizes. ( ).

Recently, he has been busy working on 2 structures in the workshop, for us to exhibit at spring garden show (May 8th - 11th).

This sauna cabin is currently getting a little bit of bling - with some water effect, mirrored stainless steel.

If your visiting the show - do drop by & say hello. The sauna will be for sale at the show.

The sedum roof on the lodge, constantly provides interest throughout the year. Often changing colours depending on weather trends.
The cold dry period we've been enjoying recently, has turned the roof a ruby red colour.

Monday 31st March - 2nd April is our next available date.

We're fast approaching the time of year, when the Daffodils begin to make an appearance.
A welcome sign that spring is not too far away.

We've only 2 midweek dates left in early March - which we've now reduced to £395 per stay (based on 2 sharing).

Wed 5th - fri 7th march.
Wed 12th - fri 14th march.

As far as weekend availability goes - (between now and early october) -

We've only 2 weekends left in May,
1 weekend in June,
1 weekend in August &
1 weekend left in September .

A bit fresh this morning!

All remaining dates in January have been reduced & we still have 1 weekend left at the end of the month (24th-27th).

We've also released 4 nights in early february - where we were originally going to do our annual refurbishments.

However, we brought it forward & got everything completed this week ( new flooring throughout & freshly decorated).

A new edition . Our new smokeless Bonfire - a firepit intended to keep our guests warm, whilst relaxing on the swing seat.
Perfect for marshmallow toasting!

We considered a normal firepit - but opted for something a bit more cutting edge!

To think we once went to Iceland to see the Northern lights!

For the 2nd year in a row & chose to spend their wedding anniversary here

Last year, the sun was shining for 'The Dress on tour' - inspecting the pastures - photo album.
This year however ....... lets just say, the weather only allowed for
'preparing dinner'.

Either way, we wish you both a very happy anniversary & all the very best for the future.
We hope you keep this up & look forward to seeing next years photo installment of 'The dress on Tour' ......... wherever that may be.x

We've been a little quiet with posts recently.
Thats because Rich took up a one off invitation to go be an adventurer in Canada.
The Pacific West Coast Trail - Vancouver Island - Canada.
80km - 25kg pack. Unsupported 6 day backcountry hike, which requires a permit to complete.
It is characterised by over 70 sets of long ladders, 100+ bridges all in varying states of disrepair.
An unrelenting, unforgiving trail. Where on average, someone is rescued / airlifted off - every other day.
Thankfully, that wasn't him & he's now back - safe and sound.

Pleased to say - that Rich's latest cabin build is now delivered to its final resting place. This is a home gym, with a shower and built in sauna. Measuring 9m long by 3.5m wide.
Getting it through the woodland to where it needed to be, was apparently quite a mission!
