If you love to travel but also feel guilty about the impact it has on the planet, join the club 😂 It’s a difficult predicament, but there are lots of ways to tread lighter when you're heading off for your next adventure. Here's my top 5...

🌍 Travel locally - COVID has forced a lot of us to keep our feet on the ground and staycation closer to home. Luckily the UK has some amazing places to explore, and local travel is a good way to reduce your carbon footprint 😁👌

🌍 Catch feelings, not flights - Wherever you can, travel by train or bus over a plane journey. It's also a way better way to see the place your visiting!

🌍 Say a big fat nope to animal tourism - Sea life shows, circuses, riding elephants, photos with tigers etc etc all contribute to the illegal capture and abuse of wild animals. Don't be that traveller just for the sake of the 'gram

🌍 Choose sustainable suppliers for any trips or tours, or even better support the locals by spending your money with them rather than booking through big international tour companies

🌍 Reduce plastic by carrying a refillable water bottle with you on your trip, say no thanks to straws and take your rubbish with you (p.s airlines are a bit slow on the whole recycling thing so do the planet a solid and take your plane rubbish with you too!)

in Dubai...

Just when you thought your bucketlist couldn't get any longer, you'd better add riding a camel to have dinner in the desert 🐫🍴☀️

This was one of the memorable experiences I had in Dubai, because it takes you away from the skyscrapers and fancy hotels and gives a little insight into the more traditional side of Arabic culture 🇦🇪

Highlights included; riding an angry camel, getting a proper henna tattoo, sh**ha pipes, and watching traditional Tanoura dancing, fire shows and belly dancing 💃🔥
