✨ There's just 3 days to go until we set off for our Lake District residential in beautiful Ullswater – and the excitement is really building! 🏞️ This will be our third year running this amazing trip, and it’s always such a special experience for the children.

✨ Today we had the privilege of visiting Manchester University, where some of the amazing staff put on a fascinating archaeological workshop for our group!

The children explored the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic eras, learning how people lived, hunted, and created during those times. 🏹🔥 They even had the chance to handle real artefacts and then got hands-on making their very own pendants, just like people would have thousands of years ago.

To round off the day, we headed over to Wythenshawe Park where we spent some lovely time at the farm, petting the animals 🐑🐇, before enjoying some play and chat time in the park. A perfect way to wind down after such an inspiring day of learning and discovery. 💡🌿

✨ A day out in Manchester ✨

Today’s adventure took us right into the heart of the city centre! 🏙️ We headed to Afflecks Palace, where the children had the freedom to explore the many floors, discover quirky treasures and grab some fantastic bargains of their own. 💫

After lunch at the food court,, we popped into a few more of their favourite shops before making our way to the beautiful Mayfield Park for some downtime in the fresh air 🌳☀️.

The highlight for many was the independence they had today.. making their own choices, purchasing things that made them smile and sharing their finds with friends. 💜

🦉✨ What a magical day we’ve had! ✨🦉

Today we visited Turbary Woods Bird of Prey and Owl Sanctuary and the children were absolutely captivated. The flying display had everyone in awe and each attendee had the special chance to have a beautiful bird of prey rest on their arm...a memory they won’t forget in a hurry!

Their adventure didn’t stop there..they took on a little fairy door quest, searching high and low to find the hidden doors, with a prize lollipop 🧚‍♀️💫

To round off our trip, we spent the last hour at Worden Park, where the children had a chance to run, play, and burn off the last bits of energy before heading home.

Another day full of smiles, new experiences and happy memories! 💛
