At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”

This activity is an important part of helping our team stay connected, support one another, and reinforce the community spirit at the heart of everything we do.

It was a lovely moment to step away from our desks, enjoy the fresh air, chat with colleagues, and spend a moment in the heart of the community we’re proud to serve 💜
