Sneaking in on the last afternoon of FRECCLES & Friends of Patricroft station had a revival of the 'Caked in History' guided walking tour first launched in 2011, exploring the Bridgewater Canal and the railways of Eccles, Patricroft and Worsley. Here we are at the former Worsley station on the line that closed in May 1969. I am wearing the same hat as the first tour in 2011, but it's faded a lot since then...
