So many people recently have said Zanzibar is on their holiday list, and I don’t blame them with gems like this.

The new Matemwe Attitude hotel is your adults-only, stress-optional, beachside bliss-out and opens late 2025.

This is the kind of place where time slows right down, think flip-flops, sea breeze, and a horizon that just won’t quit.

Set on the sugary shores of Zanzibar’s northeast coast, Matemwe serves up uninterrupted views of Mnemba Island, hello, snorkelling hotspot and a collection of dreamy villas designed for maximum laze.
