Situated in a private location in the historic grounds of what used to be the National Church School in Blidworth, we are close to Robin Hood's legendary Sherwood Forest and a great base for cyclists and walkers. Egyptian cotton bed linen, TV/DVD player, games, a well-equipped kitchen, lovely patio area, and those amazing views across fields make this a lovely home-from-home! The Church School was built in 1848 and is now our family home. The newly-built Old School Loft stands on the front of the property, where the older children used to access classrooms before that part of the school was demolished in the late 1960s/early 1970s. We love the history of our house and we're happy to talk about it if you want to know more! Cycle Route 6 runs through Blidworth and is perfect for reaching Sherwood Pines Forest Park with minimal road cycling. There are lots of forest and field walks nearby and we are within walking distance of a some excellent pub restaurants.
