In Caleta de Famara, a two-bedroom apartment sleeps four with sea views from its lounge and terrace, a five-minute walk from the shops and the long surf beach the village is known for. Inland at Tao, a restored, solar-powered Canarian farmhouse sleeps six across three bedrooms, with volcano views, a stone wood oven and a piano by the fireplace.
