York House Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage in Marazion, available for holiday rentals. 200m from the beach. Short break rates available on request.

The prices for 2025 have been finalised and we’ve kept them at the lower rates we shared for the second half of last year. This is because we want as many people as possible to be able to experience the beauty of West Cornwall! York House is a great base for exploring all that the area has to offer, sleeping 6 people in comfort in 3 bedrooms, two doubles (one with en-suite) and a twin. It has a fa

bulous outside space which is a proper sun trap (and the sun always shines in Cornwall, right?!)
A short walk from several pubs and restaurants in historic Marazion, and only 3 miles from Penzance. All these rates are for a week, where there’s more than one amount, the higher rate reflects the peak periods in that particular month. Friday changeover preferred but we are open to other options assuming they can be accommodated. Paid parking is available in the village, which is a short walk. You will need to pull up opposite the house to unload, and then park in the village. Most houses in the village don't have parking as they are so old!

That's why we share our house with other people.

We want them to feel like we do when we're there, and we are more than happy for our guests to do a little bit of gardening for us! It's good for you!

We're heading towards the end of the busy season but there is still plenty of availability for later in the year, and bookings are open for next year too.

We’ve had a busy summer of bookings at York House and it’s great to be back ourselves for August Bank Holiday weekend with friends.

The best bit about coming back after a while away?

Reading all the lovely comments about the house and the local area.

When we first took on York House, the back yard was a bare, mainly concrete space. It looked a bit sad. And not at all welcoming.

Almost 9 years on, it’s a riot of colour, and a lovely space to sit, read, eat, and chill while soaking up the sun.

It’s also a haven for wildlife, which is just how we like it!

To some, our yard might look a little overgrown, a bit ‘messy’ in places. To us, and to the bees, butterflies and other insects, it’s paradise.

So many options, as you leave magical St Michael's Mount behind and wander back over the causeway into Marazion.
