📣 Important Update: Deeping Summer Charity Ball - Event Cancelled
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the Deeping Summer Charity Ball, planned in aid of Dementia Support South Lincs, will not be going ahead this year.
This event was created not just as a night of celebration, but to raise vital funds for a cause that touches many local families. Sadly, despite reducing ticket prices from £85 to £75 and introducing a £55 ticket without food, investing heavily in advertising, and reaching out to over 100 local businesses for sponsorship, we didn’t receive enough support to make the event financially possible.
We’ve already covered significant upfront costs, and with major expenses still ahead such as the marquee, catering, entertainment, power supply, and facilities, continuing would have placed us in a difficult financial position.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who bought tickets, shared our posts, or supported us throughout. All ticket holders have been or are currently being refunded in full. We’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to the local businesses who offered sponsorship or assistance, and to the suppliers who worked with us to help bring the event to life.
We’d especially like to thank The Square Pub for their support from the very beginning, including help with bar planning and ideas. Your backing means a great deal and hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Although the Deeping Summer Ball isn’t going ahead this time, we remain committed to supporting Dementia Support South Lincs through other community events in the future.
