Our newest Travel Consultant Harry has recently returned from a trip to the Maldives where he visited Lily Beach Resort and Hideaway Resort. It was his first time in the Maldives, so this was a great opportunity for Harry to experience this truly unique destination. He was blown away by the beauty of the islands and says he can see why clients return to the Maldives year after year!

Lily Beach is reached by a 35-minute seaplane and boasts 125 villas and suites. Accommodation options include over-water and beach villas, some of which have private pools and stunning sunset views. The all-inclusive plan at Lily Beach offers a buffet restaurant, and a complimentary fine dining experience at AQVA, and the Tamarind restaurant, where clients can experience some delightful Asian cuisine. Included in the all-inclusive package, is complimentary non-motorised water sports, snorkelling, access to tennis courts, and football.
๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ - The service we received during our stay was incredible the staff were attentive and made sure we were looked after throughout. The food and drink at each restaurant were incredible, I loved the Thai and Indian food at the Tamarind restaurant. The island is beautifully set offering stunning panoramic views around the island - there was nothing but ocean in sight. I can see why this beautiful resort has such a high repeat client rate.

Reached by a 90-minute seaplane from Male, Hideaway Beach Resort is renowned for its stunning house reef and channel diving. The PADI dive centre offers courses catering to all abilities. Accommodation comprises of modern villas, as well its luxurious signature collection for those that are looking for that extra bit of luxury. The all-inclusive package at Hideaway allows clients to enjoy as much buffet as they like, as well as a meal at each of the incredible a la carte restaurants.
๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ - Compared to the small island of Lily Beach. This island had a different feel; it was much larger and almost felt like it was your own private island at times. I really enjoyed riding the bikes around to discover the island the various areas of Hideaway. The resort had a laid-back atmosphere, and I particularly enjoyed relaxing in my private pool at sunset before heading out to dinner.

I feel incredibly lucky to have visited the Maldives within my first year of full-time travel, it truly is paradise on earth. The levels of service is unmatched and all the staff were so attentive to everyone's needs. I felt thoroughly spoilt at both resorts and thanks to this trip, I now have sky high travel expectations that I will struggle to meet!
