Well busy day at old kiln farm
decorating Seaview cottage back bedroom has a window in now so much lighter .
Cottages by the shore /shoreline cottages ( havnt decided which one yet ) 1 and 2 are coming on will do video of inside both this week , going to have some fantastic views from there living room patio doors ❤️A shout out for little and Coates builders .
Barn just needing a few jobs to finish off and get signed off from council and that will be ready for rental in the next few months sleeps six ,adult only .

If you are keen fisherman you can throw a line from the beach.
We have 2 pubs in the village of Allonby 15 minutes walk ( The ship dog friendly and jacks surf bar ) , The lowther at mawbray dog friendly .

Lots of availability on our cl site Allonby solway coast Cumbria. 100 metres from beach no restrictions. 3 pubs (2 dog friendly) 15 minutes walk into village / cafes , ice cream shop and general store . Stone throw away into lakes . Fantastic views of the fells and Scotland from the site . Come support us bookings down .

Just back from a fantastic stay at Old Kiln Old Kiln Farm at Allonby in Cumbria. We return frequently to this site for many reasons :
The owners Vera, Joe and Philip Williamson are so kind and welcoming
The site is spacious with fantastic views towards the fells and mountains of Cumbria one way and to the mountains in Scotland the other,
It is really close to a beach that rarely has anyone else on it,
Near to Maryport and Silloth for shopping,
Copious birds to look for. There was a flock of at least a hundred curlew on the beach most days,
Beautiful sunsets across The Solway Firth,
On a cycle route.
There is EHU, shower and toilet and WiFi.

Give it a go - hopefully you’ll love it as much as we do.
