I've seen a few articles recently about Haddon Hall Christmas market which is one of the best in the country. Chatsworth also has a reputation for being pretty amazing. And Shippon Cottage is a perfect base to visit both.

A Christmas fan has shared the 'best' and 'most magical' Christmas market they've ever been to, and were even a bit reluctant to share it as it's a 'hidden gem' - but decided it's 'too good not to'

So many lovely walk around Birchover. The walk over Stanton Moor to Stanton in the peak is one of my favourite. Where the Flying Childers pub is available for amazing Vegan food
