From Stainsborough Hall its possible to walk directly onto the pathway around Carsington Water and to access the many public footpaths that lead to local villages. There are five cottages – Henmore, Lathkill, Dovedale, Derwent and Summer – that are either two and three bedroom properties. There is also a private tennis court that guests can use and a games room with a table tennis table and room to relax. The characterful cottages sit at the end of a long private drive away from traffic and have recently undergone extensive renovations. Each cottage now provides stylish accommodation with all modern conveniences. The Main house, with its 10 bedrooms, fabulous kitchen, large dining room and Hot tub provides an ideal get-away for families and friends looking for larger accommodation. Stainsborough Hall is set in 15 acres of beautiful gardens and countryside. The surrounding farmland is home to sheep, horses and a wide range of local wildlife. If you are looking for a break in the country, Stainsborough Hall offers everything you need to be able to relax and is an ideal base from which to explore the local area at any time of the year.

Our Story

Stainsborough Hall and its five independent holiday cottages are set in beautiful countryside offering a restful place to relax and get away from it all. There is a private tennis court, games room, children’s play area, and direct access to walking trails in and around Carsington Water. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and holiday makers looking to take advantage of the many local attractions and stunning scenery. From Stainsborough Hall it's possible to walk directly onto the pathway around Carsington Water and to access the many public footpaths that lead to local villages. There are five cottages – Henmore, Lathkill, Summer, Dovedale and Derwent – with a total of 12 bedrooms. The cottages can be rented together for parties of up to 24 people or as separate two and three-bedroom properties. The characterful cottages sit at the end of a long private drive away from traffic and have recently undergone extensive renovations. Each cottage now provides luxurious accommodation with all modern conveniences.

The main house can also be rented for groups of up to 20 people and offers a fantastic base from which to enjoy time with friends and family. Stainsborough Hall is set in 15 acres of beautiful gardens and countryside. The surrounding farmland is home to sheep, horses, and a wide range of local wildlife. If you are looking for a break in the country, Stainsborough Hall offers everything you need to be able to relax and is an ideal base from which to explore the local area at any time of the year.
