The ice may be melting, but the work never stops!

While curlers recharge for next season, our workshop in Scotland stays busy shaping the stones trusted on the world’s biggest stage.

Every stone begins long before the first end is played, handcrafted from Ailsa Craig granite, refined through generations of experience and built to last for decades of competition.
Off-season for the game.
Never off-season in the workshop 🥌

Curling has come a long way since 1511...

Originally played on frozen Lochs, early stones came in all shapes and sizes, and no two were the same.

A beautiful reminder of the sports heritage and just how far the craftsmanship of the stones has evolved.

Ever wondered how a curling stone is made?

Each of our curling stones begins as a block of carefully selected Ailsa Craig granite. The stone is then shaped, turned and polished with precision and skilled craftsmanship.
The final stage is creating the running band - the narrow ring on the bottom of the stone that touches the ice and allows it to glide and curl.

It's a detailed process that ensures every stone meets the exact standards needed for top-level curling.
