Me & lovely Lorraine had another lovely
walk in Lacock the other day on a lovely sunny Autumn afternoon with the magnificent
Lacock Abbey behind us, built in the 1200’s
Also the Photographic Negative which produced the Photograph was invented
in Lacock Abbey in the 1830’s by a man called William Henry Fox Talbot
Lacock here in Wiltshire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

British 🇬🇧 Red Telephone Box ☎️ still in full working order in a village called Grittleton in
Wiltshire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Probably about half of our Telephone Boxes ☎️
are still in full working order but the other half have had there Telephones ☎️ sadly taken out & are used for little Libraries/book swaps & some have life saving equipment in them called Defibrillators & some are even used for showing/growing flower’s 🌷 in them 😊

Me & lovely Lorraine ❤️ had a lovely walk today in Grittleton here in Wiltshire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
on a rather dull but nice day 😀
With Grittleton House & the Church of St. Mary
Most of the Architecture dates back to the 1600’s
but the Church of St. Mary dates back
to the 1200’s with some parts inc. the
Bell Tower 🔔 🔔 being added on in the
late 1470’s also 2 of the actual Bells 🔔 🔔 also dating back to the 1470’s
Also a British 🇬🇧 Red Telephone Box & a
Red Letter Box , one of the houses even has
a old Well in there front garden 🪴
Apart from a very dull day it was a lovely walk
with lovely company ❤️
