What a start to the bank holiday weekend, the sun out and the sea flat calm!

Perfect conditions for a full day wreck and reef trip!

Ballan wrasse, po***ck, bream, cuckoo wrasse, pouting, dogfish and the strangest little star fish!

Tomorrow is set to be another epic day trip, followed by an evening with the Mrs turn aboard to see the Waverley paddle steamer.

Flat calm sea today, but very little tide making fishing challenging.

But we did find the smallest conger ever, some ling, po***ck, cuckoo wrasse, comber and an endless amount of pouting. You can see the comber in the Aquarium on the harbour.

Back to it tomorrow with a full day trip, plus an evening private charter.

Due to bad weather today, I managed to utilise the day and get this years mandatory tuna training finished, thanks to Lewis on Zephyr Charters who could fit me in last minute 🐟

It was a great day, now fully ready for the tuna season to start in July 🎣

If anyone wants to bag that first tuna of the year, we have the 14th July available.
