Choppy couple of days, which made fishing challenging, but still managed tuna both days and a PB for Ben with a 72” on live bait today 🎣

A long time coming for these guys, with weather causing cancellations and other factors, but that all changed today!

A tuna each, one being on top water gear 70” and a 72” on the bars.

A bonus with these fish being right on our doorstep.

Really pleased for these guys, ticking off their bucket lists 🎣

Monday and Tuesday we welcomed the guys from Holy Mackerel Fish Oil Co.

Day one was a testing day, with no wind or tide, resulting in very little to show for our efforts.

Day two proved much more fruitful, with two tuna to the boat, one on top water gear 72” and the other on bars at 82”.

With bad weather due today, we put extra hours into day two, which was great fighting a fish with the sun setting.

Battling a bluefin tuna is never easy, but in challenging conditions it’s even harder!

But Dom never gave up and was rewarded with a 79” fish 🎣

Managed to grab the camera quickly and get this short underwater footage 💙

This weekend was spent down in Falmouth at the Shark Competition…

We’re so proud of angler Vinnie who had his first ever blue shark, and on top of that scored a trophy for this Porbeagle, which was the only one of the whole competition🦈 🏆
Great work from this young angler!

It was a great weekend all round and thanks to Andy from Anglo Dawn Boat Charter - Falmouth and John The Fish Locker for organising a cracking event 🎣

Today was a private charter for some returning anglers…

We spent the morning on tuna, with an 86” boatside.

Then this afternoon was more of a species hunt, with a mixture, including spotted ray, bonitos, squid, cuttlefish, mackerel, gurnard, black bream, whiting, pouting, comber &
bass.

Tomorrow we head back down to Falmouth again, for the shark competition 🦈
