We are delighted to give you fabulous performers the chance to register to be part of our 2026 Mevagissey Shanty Festival, again proudly sponsored by Keltek Brewery.

We’re a volunteer-run festival with a simple aim: to deliver a fantastic shanty weekend while supporting the local economy during the quieter months and raising funds for community projects.

The festival takes place across 20 venues in Mevagissey and neighbouring Pentewan. A free shuttle bus runs between the two villages, and all groups should be prepared to perform in both locations.

Yet again several French/EU vessels fishing right up to our 6 mile limit, while our small local fleet are tied up in the harbour due to the strong winds. Resulting in the fishing grounds never getting a rest.
