Miller Hill Cottage

Hi, welcome to our newly renovated spacious one bed Lakeland stone cottage for 2 adults plus 1 child (and can also fit in a cot) plus doggies. The cottage is on the west coast of the Lake District National Park, just south of Ravenglass with beautiful mountain and sea views, surrounded by fields, with nothing between the cottage and beach apart from a few sheep (7 min flat walk). Its very peaceful and secluded, with just the owner as neighbour (thats me, I am Carole and my two dogs!)

There is a log burner, huge enclosed garden and we provide a welcome pack, with some essentials plus local goodies and occasionally wine (for weekly lets). There is a fab dog friendly pub 5 mins drive (The Brown Cow). Loads of walks, biking, sailing and fishing on the doorstep and a 15/20 mins walk to nearest rail station (Bootle, Cumbria) for exploring the coast. Lots of things for kids to do too! Competitive rates by booking directly with me.

Our dog policy: We welcome up to 4 well behaved dogs and possibly more if you contact me. Dogs are welcome everywhere in the cottage apart from the bedroom and we have a dog gate, however in certain circumstances we could make exceptions, if you get in touch. Please keep doggies off the chairs, kitchen bench etc, but we allow dogs on the sofa, with a blanket. There is also a separate bin outside on the fence for dog poo.
