What better way to spend the day after saying a sad goodbye to some regular guests but to meet family at Soudley Ponds. Lovely walk followed by lunch at Dean Heritage Centre Bottoms Up everyone (especially the rather dramatic one at the back)

Busy morning here at Perry Pear holiday cottage. The flock of siskins are out in force and visuals on the Blue T**s checking out the nest boxes.
Lots of lovely activity. Spring is in the air.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with ‘S’
Last year we transplanted some snowdrops from our garden to under the field hedges at the holiday cottage (safely out of reach from browsing alpacas). So pleased they’ve taken to their new home and settled in.

Across the stepping stones.
One of our most favourite peaceful walks. Whitebrook, Forest of Dean. So much history & wildlife in the valley AND we’ve not fallen in as yet!
