After a longer dog walk than planned, I found myself at The Old Stables. And, despite their temporary power cut, I received such a lovely warm and friendly welcome from the landlady, staff and locals. After a nice cup of tea and a wee bite to eat, I headed back up the hill and home. Friendly welcome, good food, reasonable prices. Recommended and thank you. Shona (and Rupert).

We are so lucky to have a such an array of great places to eat. We popped in for a quick lunch at Mutchies Munchies yesterday and I was blown away by the amazing, genuine, friendly welcome. Thank you!

The range of products available at the Moffat Mill is quite astonishing. We enjoyed a lovely lunch this afternoon and a wee bit of last minute shopping. Great staff too. Thank you Moffat Mill
