Mall House was built in 1816, and has remained in the same family. We established Mall House self-catering holiday homes in 2008. Over the last 12 years we have built an excellent reputation, offering our customers the highest quality service. Mall House apartment and Redfield Cottage are perfect for families, couples and groups looking to holiday in Angus, Scotland. The properties are only 100 yards from each other and can be booked at the same time for groups up to 10.

We are a great base for your holiday to Scotland, with the Montrose waterfront and train station only a 10-minute walk. There are excellent links to Aberdeen, Carnoustie, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and award winning beaches, golf courses and wildlife trails and walks very close.

Mall House is a beautiful 19th Century house in the heart of Montrose, Scotland. The self-catering apartment comfortably sleeps six, and is ideal for families and friends alike. There is a private, peaceful walled garden at the back of the house which is perfect for relaxing. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living and dining room. The master bedroom has a king-sized sleigh bed and an ensuite. There is also a twin room and adult-sized bunkbeds. Parking is available in the drive of Mall House and we offer a pick-up service from the train station.

Redfield Cottage was also built in the 19th century as servant quarters for Mall House. The lovely detached cottage comfortably sleeps four and is perfect for family or group holidays. There is a delightful, south-facing enclosed garden at the back of the cottage which is a sun-trap. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area and has twin room and adult-sized bunkbeds. Free on-street parking is available and we offer a pick-up service from the train station.
