We are still running a Solo Ground School Training.

On Sunday, Dez took his dad, Ned Blythe, on his final skydive. ❤️🪂
Ned was a much-loved instructor at Skydive Northwest and sadly passed away nearly four years ago. A true legend of a guy, he was loved and respected by so many in the skydiving community.
Dez, himself a skydiver, was preparing to complete his 1,000th jump and felt there could be no more fitting way to mark the occasion than to take his dad’s ashes with him, alongside friends, and spread them in free fall.
It was an incredibly special and fitting tribute to Ned — surrounded by the sport he loved and the people who loved him. You did good Dez 👏

🎥 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢! 🪂

The dust has settled, the Caravan went home, the PAC has had a small rest and the hangovers have (mostly) subsided...but we're still buzzing from what was an absolutely awesome 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Of course, the headline achievements of the week were pretty special ones...

But Cark Week was about much more than record jumps.

It was about bringing people together. Experienced flyers jumping alongside newer FS blood. Coaching, load organising, learning, progressing, supporting each other and — most importantly — having a damn good time doing it.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. ❤️

A massive thank you again to everyone who jumped, packed, flew, filmed, organised, volunteered, supported or simply came along and added to the atmosphere.

We've had quite a few people asking whether they can get their hands on one of the Cark Week / FS Record Event T-shirts, so we're looking at putting together another order.

At the moment we're simply 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁. The final price will depend on numbers because of economies of scale, bulk-buy wizardry, economic witchcraft...whatever you want to call it. 🧙‍♂️💷

👕 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧-𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗦 – 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗘?! 👕

During Cark Week, quite a few people asked whether there were any spare 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧-𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘀 knocking about...and a few of those who already have one have asked whether they can get their hands on another.

The answer to the first question was basically "𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮"! 😂
..but given the amount of interest, I'm looking at putting another order together.

At the moment I'm just gathering 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 so I can work out numbers and get some sensible pricing. As with most things in life, the more people who want one, the cheaper they should become thanks to 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲...𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗸-𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗿𝘆...𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱. 🤷‍♂️

Cark Week 2026 🤩
What a week! It was a week of records! 🏆👏

✈️ Club FS Formation Record — 29-way from 2 planes! 👏 Epic flying from the skydivers and pilots !!

🪂 Cark Canopy Formation Record — broken twice in one week! 12 skydivers came together to build an incredible diamond formation. 👏

Huge congratulations to everyone involved. What an amazing week of skydiving, teamwork and unforgettable moments! 🤩🪂

🎉 WE DID IT!! 🎉
After months of planning, warm-up weekends, dirt-dives, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and generally trying to herd cats...

The Club FS Formation Record has been broken! 🤘

Yesterday, on our first attempt of Day 2, we built a super safe, calm and controlled 1-point 29-Way, holding it for around 4–5 seconds. I honestly couldn't be prouder of the team. Every single person who attended played a part in making it happen, whether they were in the formation, on the bench, organising, packing, flying, filming or simply supporting everyone else.

What a quality journey!

But...

Cark Week isn't over yet!

I'm staying at Cark for the remainder of the week to continue running FS Load Organising, and we have the opportunity to have a second aircraft available.

The only question is...

Do we have the numbers?

So here's the ask...

🚀 𝐓-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝟑 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬... 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞! 🚀

After months of planning, we're almost there.

From 𝟑𝐫𝐝–𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭, we'll have 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 on site all week, more lift capacity than we've had in years, on-site catering, great company, incredible views over Morecambe Bay and the Lake District... and, hopefully, plenty of blue skies! ☀️✈️

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 are the days we've all been building towards, with the Club's 𝐅𝐒 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬 (Wednesday reserved as our weather contingency).

A huge thank you to everyone who's committed to being part of the team. It's going to be something special.

Now here's the important bit...

The Record Attempts might be taking place at the start of the week, but 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.

We'll still have two aircraft on site, and 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 will be organising walk-up FS loads throughout the rest of the week.

So if you've been thinking about coming along—even if you weren't available for the official Record dates—𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭.

Who knows what we'll build?

Maybe it'll be a multiplane 16-way.
Maybe a multiplane 20-way.
Maybe something considerably bigger...

And if we've already set the official Club Record by then (which, naturally, is the plan 😉), there's absolutely nothing stopping us from putting together something even larger later in the week 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐤𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝.
