📚🌊 LOST AT SEA HAS FOUND A HOME! 🌊📚

After starting out at the local festival market, we’re incredibly excited to announce that Lost at Sea Bookshop is opening the doors to our very own permanent shop! 🥳❤️

📍 19 Victoria Street, Morecambe
📅 OPENING TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER

It’s been a whirlwind getting everything ready, and although there are still a few finishing touches to come — our sign and blinds are on their way, along with a few other bits and pieces — the shop is ready enough for us to finally welcome you through the door! 🥰

We’re so proud of how far Lost at Sea has come, from a stall at the local festival market to having our very own little home on Victoria Street. 📖✨

There’ll be plenty more to come as we continue to make the shop exactly how we want it, but 1st September marks the start of a very exciting new chapter.

So come and have a browse, discover your next read, say hello and support your local independent bookshop. ❤️

We can’t wait to see you!

…it’s happening! Work has officially started on Eden Project Morecambe! 🥳🎉

Today marks an exciting moment for us, as after years of planning, collaboration and imagination, our team and main contractor VINCI Building came together to take the first steps to bring Eden Project Morecambe to life!

The first part to open in Spring 2027 will be our free to enter Bring Me Sunshine Garden, a vibrant 1.5-acre community garden inspired by the nature, ecology and heritage of Morecambe Bay, and co-designed with young adults from the area.

The Eden Project Morecambe full site opens in late 2028.

Lancaster - A Golden Age? TOMORROW

Lancaster's 18th-century "golden age" as a booming port came at a cost — built on the profits of the transatlantic slave trade, euphemistically dubbed "The Triangular Trade."

Join us tomorrow afternoon on a circular walking tour exploring the key sites of Lancaster's maritime past — stories of slavery, shipbuilding, sugar & the sea. ⚓️

📍 Starts at Lancaster Castle's John O'Gaunt Gatehouse
⏱️ ~2 hours | includes some steep inclines
🎟️ £10 in advance from our friends at Trybooking.com/UK ⬇️
